Meatball Sliders

Great for a crowd or family dinner, these tasty Meatball Sliders are small in size but full in flavor.

Step 1

Preheat broiler in oven.

Step 2

Spray a 9×13 inch baking sheet or dish with nonstick spray.

Step 3

Slice rolls horizontally. Place bottom layer of the 15 slider buns on prepared baking sheet.

Step 4

Brush bottom layer of slider buns with melted butter and place under broiler, about 6" from heat) until toasted for 2-3 minutes. Watch carefully as they can brown quickly.

Step 5

Remove from oven. Turn oven to bake and set at 350° F.

Step 6

Heat meatballs as directed in microwave on high for 1-2 minutes.

Step 7

Place one warmed meatball per bun.

Step 8

Top with 1 Tbsp pasta sauce per meatball.

Step 9

Cover meatballs with Italian cheese blend.

Step 10

Top with 2 Tbsp chopped basil leaves.

Step 11

Place remaining halves of buns on top.

Step 12

In a small bowl, combine the 4 Tbsp melted butter, 2 Tbsp garlic, 2 Tbsp basil, and 2 Tbsp Parmesan, stirring until evenly mixed. Spread the garlic butter mixture over the top of the sliders.

Step 13

Tightly cover the sliders with sprayed aluminum foil and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes or until tops are brown.

Step 14

Cut into individual rolls and serve on a platter.
