Totchos are an American twist on nachos using tater tots instead of corn chips. Pile golden brown tater tots high with shaved roast beef, sauteed peppers and onions, and gooey melted Velveeta cheese for the ultimate appetizer, family movie night snack, or indulgent family dinner.

Step 1

Heat oven to 425ºF.

Step 2

Bake Tater Tots as directed on package, about 10-12 minutes.

Step 3

Cook peppers and onions in medium nonstick skillet on medium heat 3 to 5 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently.

Step 4

Add meat; cook on medium-low heat 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.

Step 5

Microwave Velveeta and milk in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until Velveeta is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring every 30 sec.

Step 6

Spread tater tots onto platter; top with meat mixture. Drizzle with velveeta sauce.
