Stuffed Taco Bites with Queso Recipe

For a winning appetizer or a fun twist on Taco Night, serve Food Club Stuffed Taco Bites with Queso! These hot and flaky biscuits filled with tender taco meat and served with a hot and gooey queso cheese dip.

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°.

Step 2

Cook ground beef with taco seasoning until beef is done and browned. Drain grease.

Step 3

Press flat one biscuit on a sheet of wax paper. Add 1 Tbsp taco meat to center of biscuit.

Step 4

Fold biscuit together and roll in hand to form a ball shape.

Step 5

Repeat for all biscuits and place along the outside edge of a sprayed cast iron (or oven-safe) skillet.

Step 6

Pour con queso in middle of skillet.

Step 7

In a small bowl, stir together melted butter, oregano, and cumin.

Step 8

Using a pastry brush, brush butter mixture over biscuits.

Step 9

Bake for 35-45 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.

Step 10

Top queso with diced tomatoes with chilies.

Step 11

Serve in skillet. To eat, pull apart one biscuit and dip into center hot queso.
